Disneyland® Resort in California Theatre WORKSHOPS Acting 101 & 201 (7 and up) Learn how to create characters, improvise and project professionalism on stage using proven performance techniques that will boost the confidence of any actor. Auditions and Careers: Musical Theatre (11 and up) Participate in an audition like no other and learn how to land a professional gig in musical theatre. Careers in Costuming (11 and up) Learn what it takes to succeed as an industry professional, and gain insight on the varied work of theatrical costumers and fashion designers. Improvisational Acting (9 and up) Enhance any performance or presentation and gain confidence in your own instincts as a professional improv actor. Musical Theatre (13 and up) Intermediate to advanced musical theatre students practice their dance, vocal and acting skills under the guidance of a professional performer. DISNEY PERFORMING ARTS CONSERVATORY (9-19) Participate in a comprehensive series of workshops, focusing on acting, dancing, and vocal led by entertainment professionals — culminating with a live performance. Instrumental PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES Disney Performing Arts OnStage (7 and up) Perform on a Disney stage or march in a Disney Theme Park, to experience the emotion, pageantry and pride of a grand Disney tradition. Soundtrack Session: Instrumental (7 and up) Sight-read and record music from Disney films in a simulated film-scoring studio. Soundtrack Session: Jazz (7 and up) Master key concepts of improvisation, jazz styles and rhythm, and record music from Disney films in a simulated film-scoring studio.
